Coastal Clean Up

ATTENTION: 

CWTS STUDENTS:

 

            You are hereby directed to Mayor Anunciacion R. Tuazon National School of Fisheries for the International Coastal clean up on September 20, 2008, Saturday at 9:00 o’clock in the morning.

 

            Bring along with you an empty bag or sack for coastal garbage collection. Please get a copy of your waiver to your instructor. No waiver no attendance.

 

            BE guided accordingly.

Answer our Science trivia questions every week of the month of Sept. and able the lucky winner.

 

Mechanics for the Science Trivia

  1. This activity is open at all bonifide students in CVSCAFT Calape Campus.
  2. Interested students must work individually.
  3. The participants must answer the question posted in every department, and dropped their answer in the box provided.
  4. The answer must be written in apiece of paper with their full name, course and section at the back.
  5. The question will be given weekly and there will be five questions to be answered every week.
  6. There will be a weekly winner to be declared.
  7. Among the weekly winners, students who got more correct answers will be declared as the grand winner.
  8. In case of a tie, it will be drawn by lot to determine the winner and it will be announce during the culmination program.
  9. There are also certificates to be given for those proclaimed winners.

Do’s and don’ts

 

·       Do wash the bite wounds immediately and thoroughly with soap and water

·       Don’t delay treatment of any animal bite case. Consult with your nearest physician for possible vaccination.

·       Do not seek help from faith healer or “TANDOK” when bitten by animals, rabies virus can only be killed ay anti-rabies vaccine.

·       Rabies is transmitted through saliva of rabid animals. Do not let your dogs lick your fresh wound.

·       Always leash or confine your dogs and cats at home, they can easily get virus from other stray.

·       Have your dogs and cats vaccinated against virus yearly.

·       If your pet dogs and cats bitten someone, don’t kill them, consult a veterinarian to observe them for 14 days for any change of behavior.

·       Do campaign for the control and elimination of stray dogs and cats.

·       Feed your dogs and cats with clean food and water. Provide your pets appropriate sleeping mat.

·       Do not play with stray dogs. Avoid contact with street or stray dogs and cats.
